Le Col

 

I have undertaken several projects with the cycling brand Le Col, the majority of which have been focussed on optimisation and improvements to the e-commerce side of their website. We have been working at pace to design, test and iterate various components and pages in the site, including product list pages, product detail pages and up-sell and cross-sell opportunities within the shopping cart.

The design language was already mature, and my role was to refine and improve it where we deemed it possible and useful from the perspective of the business. Alongside this, there was no component library or design system in existence, so part of my task was to document what was in use across the site and produce a design system based on my findings, making improvements to it as I went along.

The ability for me to make changes to improve the design and benchmark them against the needs of the business has led to a successful working relationship between Le Col and myself.
