EDF Smart+ was a concept for a platform which was designed to help EDF customers track their energy usage across all the appliances within their homes, a subject which is very poignant in the current economic climate.

I worked on this discovery phase of this project, designing a north star vision for the platform. We used an elevated and simplified application of the EDF brand, creating strong typographic layouts with a clear hierarchy to allow the customer to quickly see their energy usage, incorporating iconography to reduced cognitive load. You can easily see your biggest increases at a glance, but also have the opportunity to do a deeper dive into your usage for those customers who wanted to do so.
